The TAC polarized Lenses We Use

What are TAC Lenses?

Very simply TAC lenses are polarized lenses using a new type of lens technology formulated for superior visual and polarization clarity. They have a scratch coating and block 100% harmful UV rays. These lenses are very lightweight and highly impact resistant.

Polarized lenses reduce glare and eye strain, while still delivering 100% UVA/B/C protection. All of our lenses are tested by our manufacturer and an independent lab to make sure they are compliant with all EU, US and other international UV standards to block 100% UVA/B/C rays.

Each batch of our polarized TAC lenses are also tested for effectiveness and were specifically chosen due to their lightweight design and high performance for every need you have for your sunnies! So what does it all mean?

Polarized - Reduce eye strain & glare

Light waves travel in different directions: vertical light helps us to see but horizontal light creates glare which restricts our vision. Glare is created when light rays bounce off a horizontal shiny surface such as water, sand, snow, or roads.

Polarized lenses allow IN the vertical light providing us with clear-vision but they also have a special filter to keep OUT and absorb the horizontal light caused by glare.
